Users can use the following Microsoft clients:
Microsoft Outlook on Windows requires a special Kerio Outlook Connector to be installed on the desktop. Microsoft Entourage and Outlook Mobile have native support and works right out of the box.
Kerio Outlook Connector
Kerio Outlook Connector unlocks the groupware features of Microsoft Outlook. Instead of connecting to Microsoft Exchange Server, Outlook connects directly to Kerio MailServer allowing users to access their email, calendars, contacts, tasks, notes, distribution lists, and shared and public folders.
Kerio Outlook Connector requires the desktop computer to
be connected to Kerio MailServer via the network or the Internet
since it does not store any information locally.
Compatible
with Microsoft
Outlook 2000, XP and 2003. Kerio Outlook Connector and Kerio
Synchronization Plug-in cannot be used concurrently.
Kerio Synchronization Plug-in for Outlook
Kerio Synchronization Plug-in for Microsoft Outlook is designed for notebook users who need offline access to their calendars, contacts and notes in Outlook. It does not offer all of the same integration with Microsoft Outlook that the Kerio Outlook Connector provides.
Kerio Synchronization Plug-in only provides offline synchronization for personal contacts and calendars in Microsoft Outlook and does not deal with email at all. For email, users must use a standard IMAP or POP3 account to have their email stored locally. IMAP allows mail to be stored on the server and synchronized back to the client. Requires Microsoft Outlook 2000, XP or 2003.
Kerio Outlook Connector and Kerio Synchronization Plug-in cannot be used concurrently.
Microsoft Entourage
Kerio MailServer takes advantage of the existing interface for Microsoft Exchange in Microsoft Entourage, allowing users to configure their clients as if they were talking to the Microsoft Exchange Server. Once the account is created, no further configuration is required.
Mobile Devices
Kerio MailServer connects directly over-the-air (OTA) with Outlook Mobile and VersaMail™ to synchronize email, calendar, contacts and tasks on Treos™ and Windows Mobile devices.
Kerio WebMail
Every single collaboration feature of Kerio MailServer is also available from Kerio WebMail. Please check the Kerio WebMail section for a comprehensive description.
Apple Address Book and Apple iCal
A combination of Apple Mail, Apple Address Book and Apple iCal applications give Mac users a nice alternative to Microsoft Entourage. Kerio MailServer provides seamless synchronization with Address Book and iCal.

Kerio Outlook Connector, crossplatform groupware support, and wireless synchronization with Treos™ and Windows® Mobile devices are included in the price of Kerio MailServer. Just purchase the appropriate license for your number of users and no additional licensing is required.
